Initially established as a printing facility for local non-profits, our print shop’s offerings have grown tremendously over the years. Popular custom products include business cards, pamphlets, posters, banners, stickers, brochures, packaging, and more. Print consultations and design services are available as needed. DIGITAL PRINTING
Personalized printing for every occasion
At Blast, we love printed materials. We obsess over quality print pieces and love experimenting with ideas. Our digital printers are equipped with a variety of features including accurate front-to-back page duplexing, multiple media storage trays, and a fifth color station capable of printing white, clear, neon, and security inks. Our machines produce 90 pages-per-minute and can handle paper stocks up to 360 gsm. These features allow us to offer our clients new and effective ways to communicate with their customers.
Popular print products include invitations, catalogues, calendars, postcards, direct mail, business cards, posters, packaging, window clings, and stickers. All products listed are produced and processed in-house to maximize client satisfaction and minimize mistakes. Custom products may be proofed and compiled before production begins at the client’s request. We are happy to offer packing and shipping services as needed.
Lamination and UV Coating
Our coatings are the perfect finishing touch
Lamination and UV Coating are great additions to any print piece. These finishes add a layer of protection against scratches and fingerprints along with increasing the vibrancy and richness of colors. Finishes offer an inexpensive alternative to uncoated paper printing. When planning a print project, it is important to understand the difference between Lamination and UV Coating.
Lamination is the process of heat-sealing print pieces within a polyester material in a commercial lamination machine. Lamination provides high-strength, flexible protection against scratches and weathering. Laminated materials can be used in conjunction with dry-erase markers at no harm to the original print. Common examples of laminated print pieces are book covers, gift cards, and posters.
UV Coating is the process of applying polymer resin through a series of rollers and curing the liquid using ultraviolet lights. UV Coating is durable and attractive, but not considered as resistant as Lamination. The process is fast and curing is instant. UV Coating provides a smooth, vibrant finish that will make any print piece pop. Examples of UV Coating are brochures, menus, postcards, and calendars.
Die-Cutting
Unique shapes and sizes for printed materials
We are happy to offer affordable, high-quality die-cutting services for products that require special shapes and sizes. Our rotary die-cut machinery utilizes weighted metal plates with sharp razor edges to cut out the design of your choice. Common die-cut shapes are 3.5 in. X 2 in. (standard business card), 4 in. X 6 in., 5 in. X 7 in., and 4 in. round. Custom-sized dies can be manufactured for a fee.
Die-cutting services are standard for orders containing business cards, name tags, gift cards, stickers, magnets, and more.
